Smith Embellishments hand makes all products sold on its online store. Most of our products are made-to-order, and our inventory is limited. We try to maintain accurate inventory counts on our website, but from time-to-time there may be an inventory discrepancy, and there will be a delay in fulfilling your order. In this instance, we will contact you and provide an estimated time as to when the order will be completed and ready for shipping.

Smith Embellishments begins work on product orders upon receipt. The processing time varies on products due to the production time required to make these handcrafted products. Our products are not mass produced. Great care and attention to detail are put into making these products. Smith Embellishments accepts PayPal and other major credit cards as payment methods.

Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination of the items in the order. Insurance will be purchased on all orders. Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by the courier. Payment for shipping and insurance will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer. Products are shipped with the United States Monday through Friday using standard FedEx Ground and USPS Priority unless Rush Delivery is requested.

Smith Embellishments will ship to P.O. Box addresses using postal services only. We are unable to offer couriers services to these locations.

We are able to ship to military addresses using USPS. We are unable to offer this service using courier services.

Please ensure that the shipping address is correct before placing an order. For change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been shipped. However, once the item has shipped we will be unable to process any address changes.

Standard Delivery

In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 2 – 7 business days. This is dependent upon the shipping courier. Item shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories will likely incur an additional charge. Orders shipped internationally are in transit for 4 - 22 days. This varies greatly depending on the courier you have selected. We are able to offer a more specific estimate when you are choosing your courier at checkout. If delivery time has exceeded the estimated time, please contact us at smithembellishments@gmail.com so that we can conduct an investigation with the courier services.

Rush Delivery

For an extra charge and within the United States, we are able to provide rush delivery to most destinations. Rush delivery options include 3 Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air. Please contact us for a quote if you are interested in shipping rushed delivery for your purchase.

Tracking

Upon shipping of the order, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.

Damaged or Lost In-Transit

If you find a parcel is damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and contact us directly at smithembellishments@gmail.com. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact us at smithembellishments@gmail.com. We may request that you send us pictures of the damaged product. We will then contact the courier to submit a damage claim.

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim. For parcels damaged in transit, we will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim. For parcels lost in-transit, we will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.

Returns/Exchanges

Smith Embellishments will happily exchange products as long as a request to exchange the product is received by us within 7 days of receipt of the item and the products are returned to us in the original packaging, unused, and in resellable condition.

Return shipping will be paid at the customer’s expense and the customer will be required to arrange their own shipping.

Once the exchanged products are received and accepted, Smith Embellishments will begin processing the exchange. We will notify you once this has been completed through email. The customer will be responsible for shipping charges related to shipping the exchanged product.

Smith Embellishments is unable to exchange or return special-order, custom, or personalized products or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Please contact us at smithembellishments@gmail.com within 7 days of receipt of the item with questions relating to the product. Please understand that we are human and that we can make the occasional mistake. We ask that you give us an opportunity to correct any issues that you may encounter before leaving feedback. We appreciate your business.

Duties & Taxes

Sales tax has already been applied to the price of the products displayed on the website.

Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in the destination country. This varies by country, and Smith Embellishments encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Smith Embellishments at the customer’s expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus a 20% restocking fee, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.
